I could play nothing but smolder-y torch songs for hours...this song being one of them, were I to do it at its usual tempo. Bill was the one who suggested speeding this one up....as if I'd actually been living on just coffee and cigarettes....and the song went to a whole other level. Brannen counted this one off and we just started hauling ass with no particular plan in place. Magic happened, complete with impromptu scat solo and and outro madness. If memory serves, this was our first and only take and it all went down live. Good call, Bill.
